Elaioconiosis is a work-related acneiform eruption which affects the skin of workers handling mineral oils or greases. Although it’s not a rare disease, oil acne is poorly reported in the literature, particularly in Tunisia. In fact, this dermatitis seems to be under-estimated even by dermatologists and occupational physicians. The occurrence of Elaioconiosis has decreased with the use of personal protective equipment and the respect of personal hygiene measures. Time off work during the treatment is crucial to resolve these lesions.
